Sugar Loaf + Historical Center

Rio de Janeiro was, and still is one of the most important cities in Brazil. It even used to be the country's capital, and this is reflected in the great number of historically important sites in the city's historic center. This tour starts with an early morning visit to Sugar Loaf mountain, one of the prime landmarks in Rio de janeiro. Afterwards, we continue to Lapa, with its aquaduct and the colored stairway, Cinelândia, with the teatro municipal and the national library, Largo da Carioca, Praça XV, with the Paço Imperial, the palacio Tiradentes and several historic churches like the Candelária...

Duration: 5-6 hours

Price: 150 R$ per person (minimum 3 people)

Included: Transport and guiding services

Not included: Sugar Loaf entry (currently 62 R$)

(remark: Price includes pickup and drop off in Zona Sul of Rio de Janeiro. For other locations the price will be adjusted depending on the distance)

Tijuca Forest Jeep Tour

One of the most incredible aspects of Rio de Janeiro is its urban forests, the Tijuca forest and the Pedra Branca forest, the two largest ones in the world.

While the Pedra Branca forest is still only accessible on foot, the Tijuca Forest has a network of asphalted roads, allowing for a very scenic ride along some of the most spectacular views of the city, like Vista Chinesa, Mirante Dona Marta and mesa do imperador. A visit of the Tijuca National Park is also included in the tour.

Duration: 3-4 hours

Price: 125 R$ per person (minimum 3 people)

Included: Transport and guiding services

(remark: Price includes pickup and drop off in Zona Sul of Rio de Janeiro. For other locations the price will be adjusted depending on the distance)

Favela Visit

The first favela of Rio de Janeiro (favela da Providência) emerged in 1897, and since then their number has reached more than 1000 today. While some favelas are still under the yoke of drug gangs, since 2008 several of them in the south zone have been pacified and are quite safe to visit. Our tour takes you to Rocinha, the biggest favela in South America, with a population of over 200.000 people (official number is around 70.000). You will walk around and experience first hand how people in a (pacified) favela go about their dayly business.

Duration: 3-4 hours

Price: 125 R$ per person (minimum 3 people)

Included: Transport and guiding services

(remark: Price includes pickup and drop off in Zona Sul of Rio de Janeiro. For other locations the price will be adjusted depending on the distance)
