Option 1: Fazenda visit
In the region around Volta Redonda, also known as the "Vale do Café" (Coffee Valley), more than 30 fazendas are open to the public. One of the biggest and most famous fazendas in the region is Fazenda Santa Clara. With its 365 windows, 52 rooms and 12 salons, calling it impressive is an understatement.

Option 2: Fazenda visit + Hike to Arco Iris waterfall (whole day)

Following the fazenda visit, we take a 6 km dirt road to the start of the trail to the beautiful Arco Iris waterfall. From there it is an easy 2,5 km walk through a lush forest up to the waterfall. Make sure to take a towel to dry off after a refreshing waterfall shower...

Option 3: Fazenda visit + waterfall rappel (whole day)

Following the fazenda visit we take the scenic route to the place where we will do the rappel of a 50m waterfall called "Cachoeiro do Batismo" located 15 km from Santa Rita de Jacutinga. A towel and an extra set of clothes is necessary...
